Kabonfootprint Divide and Conquer methodology will be the revision of the divide and conquer methods. Divide and conquer is used by tacticians and problem solvers to easily deal with vast amount of problems. The concept actually is simple and applicable to any type of problems encountered. In war, usually used by war leaders or captains to deal with their enemies with great powers and numbers. They divide their enemies by using diversionary tactics so they will spread and will decrease in numbers in some point of an area. When they started to become smaller in one area that's they attacked them one by one or small group in one single attack to paralyze them. This is sometimes called "guerrilla tactics" in some countries and you can find it in some history books. In this attack the usual secret "ingredient" is surprise attack. In computer science, divide and conquer method is usually use to different sorting algorithms and usually use as a recursive procedural method. (according to Wikipedia) In life this method in solving problems can be very applicable. In case you encounter big problems and responsibility, you simply try to simplified the problem by identifying the sub problem. In this way, the easiest part of the problem can be solved easily thus not wasting any time that will be used to think a lot for a solution of a bigger problem. |
